It’s been quite a while since I last shared a bridal session with you here, on the blog, and today, I’m excited to change that! Getting caught up has its ups and downs – I should not let myself get so behind and oh, the late nights BUT stopping to relive these days is so sweet. Remembering countless emails, precious conversations, and the honor of stepping away from my little people to see my sweet brides uninterrupted to celebrate is priceless!!
I love when my brides schedule a bridal session! The common misconception is that if you schedule a bridal session you are bypassing individual bridal portraits on your wedding day. That couldn’t be further from the truth! You simply get MORE. This is another opportunity to have beautifully styled photos of you taken – a milestone in this wedding season (often close to a 30-day countdown!), a precious memory to bring along your momma or someone close to you, and sometimes the first time a bride really feels like a bride, fully dressed and pampered in her wedding attire… This. Is. Happening!
Earlier this month I shared Lydia and Nicholas’ Spring Wedding, and while you were able to see a glimpse into this gorgeous bride then, I was so thankful to have some time to celebrate her as a precious bride-to-be!
When Lydia and I were planning this session, talking through location ideas, she mentioned Redcliffe Plantation, the same location her fiancé, Nicholas proposed to her at just two years ago!! I have a feeling this will always be a special place for them, and understandably so!
Lydia is standing within FEET of where Nicholas proposed, asking her join him on a journey of a lifetime as his wife… only this time she’s wearing white! Cue the tears!
Lydia radiates joy. You could tell she was genuinely so excited to get married, with everyone nose-scrunch filled smile! (My favorite!) Singlehanded she is stunning but I could only imagine what was to come with her groom by her side in Dress Blues!
