JOHN + TRICIA

The first time I met John and Tricia for coffee I knew these two were special!! They were both in the process of finishing medical school in preparation for Pediatric residency! Soon after their engagement session John and Tricia found out they were matched in Houston and they would move a short two weeks after their wedding!!! They’re going to be Pediatric doctors, y’all! As a mom, particularly a momma who has children with special needs, I’m so grateful to serve a couple who is pursuing a profession that has been such a blessing in our lives! I am so excited to see how the Lord uses them to serve families individually and as a couple! And what a joy to introduce and see them in my other full-time job – being a mom to three energetic littles. We actively & joyfully welcomed them into the world-of-kids with none other than my own! My boys clung to Tricia — to see my two worlds collide was priceless.

Wedding day was upon us! I arrived, caffeine in hand excited to enter the Partridge Inn Penthouse for a happy embrace! Tricia showed me a box of precious details – both from their dating & engagement season and those she was incorporating into her wedding day! Then she handed me a gift. A hand painted canvas, one of the last pieces she painted as a Fransisco. Cue all the tears. She wrote, “Since pictures are 1000 words I needed something that says ‘thank you’ 1000x! Always grateful.” On top of wedding planning, finishing med school, and planning for a move, she took time to think of me, one of her vendors, and the future office I’ve been planning for! John and Tricia’s intentionality, not only with me but with the family and friends who gathered around them to celebrate this milestone, was curated beautifully.

Their wedding day was such an admirable display of pure joy, love, and adoration they have towards others! Such an honor to be apart of this day – and today, I’m so excited to share a glimpse of it with you!!!

Mimosas on the rooftop of The Partridge Inn is always a good idea!!!

Tricia went above and beyond to love her girls with a tangible gift. Each bag was intentionally curated for each one – with memories, returning items ;), and some of their favorite things! SO sweet!

Surprises on wedding days are my favorite!! To see Tricia’s girls tearfully celebrate how BEAUTIFUL she looked was just perfect!

Tricia’s precious little sister, Dana! And added excitement as this is the first of two weddings this year!!! Dana will be getting married later this year!!!

These florals Rebekah put together were just perfect. The texture and color palate was simply flawless!

Family and friends traveled internationally to celebrate John and Tricia – some her family from Hawaii gifted them with a hand-folded leis! Such a sweet surprise!

After a delicious dinner, tear-filled toasts, and cake cutting Mike, the DJ turned on the dancing music!! I’ll be honest, this was a fun crowd but we weren’t sure what the dance floor would look like… if anyone would dance at all. Oh, but did they! My cheeks hurt from smiling so big! It was some of the best dancing I’ve ever seen at a wedding!! So many people joined that we had to move tables to make more room!!! Let’s just say I’m just jealous I can’t move like that! 😉

This is Dana, Tricia’s sister’s fiancé! Can I be a fly on the wall at their wedding later this year?! I mean, MOVES!

It’s not every weekend we get to send our precious couples off in daylight!!! But it might be my favorite!!! A sparkler exit just as the sun was beginning to set… YES, PLEASE!

And it was so fun they turned around and went for round two! Y’all their people were so excited to cheer them through again!

If it hasn’t already been the most perfect day we walked up the steps to be canal side to steal a the last, few minutes of sunshine! Such a gorgeous way to end an even more magical day!

So much love for you two!!! xoxox
